#Chhichhore – LooseEmotions StrongLesson

Bar of expectations was high from the Director Nitesh Tiwari. The film is just average with the kind of length it has versus how much does it connect. 
Entertain! Yes it does in some parts but as a whole comes as quite a bore.

The film doesn’t offer anything new. Look is quite lame plus the toggle of timeline bores you. Too much on length than substance. It thrives high on the philosophy of friendship and nostalgia but doesn’t really offers much on the bonding. Everything looks made-up like their fake looks. It fails to deliver a story; it toggles around a deep regret of failure in education and terminal step towards it and their college lives that has nothing more but a GC competition. 
Student of the Year Kind of the rush, Jo Jeeta wohi Sikander moments, mockery of 3 idiots and reverse of Chak De strategy where you hoot to distract the opposite team but never really ace up your own game. Similarly, the director doesn’t really aces up the audience experience. Sushant Singh Rajput elderly role demands a lot of him and he doesn’t really lives up to what the character demands. His expressions, body language everything looks made up. For the rest of the elderly group, other than baldness nothing emerges. Shraddha Kapoor looks better in the present day and as a college student she lacks vanity since this is not a Dharma Production Film.Eventually, it preaches you Parenting, dealing with failures, that you can easily come across YouTube videos online than in this diluted film where the strong message gets lost in the loose emotions.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor have no chemistry; neither any of the friendship bond comes any strong to reflect their camaraderie. Individually only Sexa played by Varun is good and has some hilarious lines to deliver. He alone succeeds to tickle your funny bones. Bevda played by Saharsh Shukla is shown as a college student and doesn’t look convincing at all as the college student. Tahir Bhasin who delivered great performance in Mardaani has a good role and screen time but somehow is lost in this crowded mis-cast film. None of the performances other than Varun are praise worthy. Neither the music nor the cast of leading performance stays with you than the character Sexa. 
Chhichhore – Give it a miss.
