Dilwale – Rohit Shetty & Team Continues to Entertain!!!

Rohit Shetty and Team does it again what they are best at – Entertain. And as Vidya Balan rightly said (though written by someone else) Filmein sirf 3 cheezon se chalti hai Entertainment, Entertainment aur Entertainment – And Dilwale Entertains.

No Pot boilers ahead. Read on!!!

The Wow factor of the movie is SRK-Kajol hitting screens together. Varun Dhawan peps it  up rightly along with little to do Kriti Sanon.  Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Varun Sharma, Boman Irani do their part well as a support cast. Sanjay Mishra as Oscar tickles you with  some unapologetic comedy with Brand Names coming directly in the lines Ariel, Harpic from nowhere making you wonder to what he just said. Though this one is not a laughing riot Rohit Shetty Movie but its plot is well weaved for you to stay interested in the movie throughout till the end.

This too forms a typical Rohit Shetty Movie set in Goa with lead stars running a Garage. Shahrukh Shines on Screen along with Kajol as their chemistry looks as fresh as cucumber. Shahrukh plays elder brother to Varun Dhawan and their bro-mistry works really well – movie goes in flashback showcasing a 15year younger Shahrukh; Rohit Shetty makes him look good and he looks good. Kajol too looks stunning and does brings in the surprise factor well. Of course Varun and Kriti fall for each other and Varun yet again succeeds to showcase his talent. He is one star of this generation who is a perfect fit for masses and classes.

Music of the film is average and so is the sound design. Cars do topple but at a lesser frequency than his earlier movies.

Vinod Khanna & Kabir Bedi adds up a value even in their minuscule roles yet significant. The SRK Kajol Chemistry works and SRK proves he still has it what it takes to be a King Khan – a scene where he asks Kajol to look into his eyes post interval will remind you of SRK of earlier movies. They lit up the screen each time they come together. With a last line of Dilwale coming directly out of DDLJ it leaves you reminisced.

Dilwale – Come fall in love with SRK-Kajol again.

Jhund- Not a film, it’s Cinema!

jhund Review- OyeFilmy

Short Ridiculous Review- Jhund
After a long long time I am back with my short ridiculous review, and its Nagraj Manjule’s Jhund, now you must be thinking its a Bachchan film then why I said Manjule’s film, its because Jhund is not a usual Bollywood film for a usual Bollywood audience, its something different, not typical Indian masala film but a BHARAT ka film with BHARAT ke actors apart for Mr Bachchan.

I would call it a 3 hrs Long MOVIEMENTRY- a combination of a movie and documentary on the life of Slumdogs.

Who should watch: People who have the patience to watch a 3 Hrs long film, yes you can take it as a binge-watch series, film Makers and enthusiasts

Why watch- Munjule’s Cinema, Acting of raw actors.

Ridiculous Rating: 3
