Documentary Feature Film ‘’The 14th February & Beyond’’ by Utpal Kalal Wins Best Film Award At Jaipur International Film Festival

Feature documentary film ”The 14th February & Beyond” from UK Pictures Entertainment, directed and produced by Utpal Kalal have won the best picture award in the category of documentary feature at the 12th Jaipur International Film Festival and got nominated for Millenium International Documentary Film Festival, Belgium and in National Competition at the Mumbai International Film Festival by Film Division, Govt. Of India. 

The film is a first ever closest look into the Valentine’s Day that unveils the bizarre shades of this global love fest and its ripple effect on society. The filmmaker explores the shocking ground facts about Valentine’s Day that have been overlooked until now; as well as bringing forth a comprehensive view of the subject through experts from various fields into this eye opening documentary film. 

”It took an extensive research of about two years where I read a vast amount of related material, analyzed international and national News information, visited several govt. Organizations and NGOs, talked to common people, including- students, parents, teachers, counselors, couples, storekeepers, and interviewed experts from different fields for deeper insight. My focus was on not just getting the information, but try to collect reliable sources of evidence and carry out a comprehensive investigation of the subject. With every passing day, I was shocked with new findings and there was an untold piece of story to share with the world. This film needs to stand on its own and talk to the audience because in the time where everything is being manipulated and controlled, something has happened that has taken away our ability to understand between right and wrong, but this film HITS BACK and SHOUTS OUT- It’s Time, Wake up!” said, Dr. Utpal Kalal, director of the film.
