Fukreys play some hoops to keep it going

Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh are together recognized as the cast 2013 success, ’Fukrey’, directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba. Now as the cast has come together again to shoot for the much-awaited sequel, have found ways to go strong beyond sets and develop their chemistry beyond the reel life. Ali has recently collaborated with Richa and has come to the rescue of stray pups, and help them find responsible caretakers. As for the remaining clan, Ali has come up with a unique practice to bond over. Being a former basketball player, he has now turned the sport into his ritual of bonding with his cast. Ironically, the injury was bad enough for him to discontinue his career in sports, and that is actually how he got into the industry in the first place! We hear now the cast has been lead by Ali who’s become a part-time coach showing the cast moves of playing basketball well! They have made a makeshift basketball court where Ali and others would often play between their spare time and post shoot, with Ali being an informal coach of sorts.

It was extremely coincidental that while shooting for a wedding idea film we realized of a soon to happen wedding of a crew member and since weddings ceremonies are so special to all of us we thought why not make it special for him n give him a small gift from our end. The team ‘The Wedding Factory’ my wedding planning company was more than happy to put things together for the bride and groom and make it a very memorable event for them. It surely was a celebration of the team spirit our cast n crew had.
