A cricketer, a Train Ticket Collector who made the entire world make buy his Tickets on the global map; making India win a World Cup creating History and more. Neeraj Pandey is all set to add cinematic glory to this story with his cinematic craft and Friday Filmworks will have a film that will work. That will make people buy his tickets and watch this journey of the Man they love on the big screen. The trailer is fantastic and the rest of the cast associated as well looks brilliant. Bhumika Chawla playing his sister, Anupam Kher playing his father and Rajesh Sharma handpicking him for the game is quite a stellar supportive cast giving soul to the narrative. Kiara Advani and Disha Patani plays the women in his life without basking much screen time probably.
The National Award winning director Neeraj Pandey has given us over the edge thrillers like A Wednesday, Special 26 and Baby. M.S. Dhoni looks too crisp and to the point. If you go by the looks of Sushant Singh Rajput; half the game is won as he is in the skin of the character and seeing him you can visualize M.S.Dhoni that’s where the Director wins half the game.
