Melorra Onboards Ex-Apple Techie as CTO, Purple Quarter Leads the Search

The Bangalore-headquartered brand was founded in 2016 by Saroja Lakshmi Yeramilli with a mission and vision to ‘create the largest everyday fashionable fine jewellery brand globally.’ Melorra currently has an online presence in 718 districts in India and in the next four years aims to set up 350 retail centres. To support the scale, increase footprints in both online marketplace and offline stores and bring in the latest technologies to strengthen its capabilities, Melorra wanted a seasoned techie to join as a Chief Technology Officer.

With an understanding of the business, role and responsibilities, Nirdosh Chouhan presented to be the best fit for the leadership role. With over 20 years of strategic growth in managing teams, and distributed enterprise products and applications, the IIM Bangalore alumnus has had several impressive stints with Apple, OYO, NetApp and Oracle among others. He was one of the first few employees at Apple and was in charge of spearheading its retail engineering division. In his time with the company, he worked on designing global customer-centric technology products with the mission of performance, scale, security and reliability.
