It’s a wave of change for Men’s perception. Sheer Brilliant Cinema bringing you the syllabus of vision on how one should not judge women or anybody for that matter.
It breaks the monotony thoughts of Indian Society that thinks their thoughts are PINK in their health ironically they are not; it will force you to believe on what you think is wrong. How you see things is wrong. PINK comes out loud giving a strong yet simple message that a No should mean nothing but a NO. Only if a girl is simply accompanying you over a drink, giggling around with you, comes out comfortably with you, finds a friend in you, does not necessarily mean she will sleep with you. CONSENT is necessary nothing goes for granted. This is what PINK throws it on our face forcing us to think beyond our pre-set minds, helping us come out of the conventional thoughts with brilliant writing and screenplay.
Ritesh Shah take a bow for a story that will shake the minds of our society.
Amitabh Bachchan Take a bow – your Midas Touch – makes PINK PICTURE PERFECT.
Shoojit Sircar& Rashmi Sharma – Take a bow – for putting PINK Together.
PINK – A story that keeps you hooked it just doesn’t let your mind wander, the screenplay holds you tight giving you a breather with few short songs and a dying old lady. Otherwise, it s riveting, crisp and bold. The fate of three girls comes on stakes with one dark night that gets them in the trouble they think they would escape. Being sorry when you are actually not; sorry indeed becomes a costly word. It’s an incident that occurs amongst the 3 girls and 3 boys who plan to chill out post the concert they attend and something leads to an incident that forms the crux of the story. Right from scene one you know something has happened you couldn’t witness in the trailers; you wouldn’t witness it here as well so soon; but you know smething has happened. This something forms a great curiosity for the plot to be un-layered and when it does; it is indeed a thoughtful provocation when Big B rings in each rule that breaks the monotony of your thoughts. Audience clap, cheer and hoot. All this comes packaged along with an entertainment where you are not just preached but you are made believe too. This is where exactly the credit goes to writers for making it believable, credit goes to the director for crafting the script incredibly on celluloid, credit goes to Big B who is Magnum in his presentation as a lawyer and of course credit goes to the 10 National Awardees who come together to make PINK magical. Teamwork speaks loud in PINK. Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari and Andra Tariang perform well showcasing their vulnerability, their strength, their courage, their morality keeping their dignity in place they are out there as today’s women accepting their faults and denying the fake. Pitting against Big B is Piyush Mishra yet anoter talent opus who is trying to defend the boys in this courtroom drama pepping it up with some humor over food for thought.
The change you will witness from nineties to the present era, women in cinema have come quite far but Men in society probably are still the same. Hence PINK comes to make them feel blue. In Rajkumar Santoshi’s Damini, when Damini was bowled with bold probe in the court, the actress then had chosen to answer in a private room. Today, the similar situation when Minal Arora (Taapsee Pannu) faces she choses an open courtroom, showcases the courage to speak; showcases the strength, showcases the pnk power. That’s where the women today have emerged from bold to beautiful and yet beautiful.
