The much awaited trailer of ‘Neerja’ starring Sonam Kapoor in the lead role was released today. The video was met with great enthusiasm from fans as it presented a daringly different subject to audiences. The makers bring the untold story of Neerja – young 23 year old girl who is the youngest Ashoka Chakra award winner in India. Neerja Bhanot sacrificed her life while protecting 359 passengers aboard a hijacked PanAm flight 73 in 1986. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi plays Sonam’s mother in the movie.
