SULLY – BRILLIANT!!!

SULLY  – Brilliant!!!

unknown

Clint Eastwood is the real captain. His Wisdom in the art of cinema reflects Brilliantly on the celluloid with ease in SULLY. It’s a flight experience you must take. It’s a perception you must witness.

SULLY Based on the true averted tragedy that emerged a real Hero Chesley Burnett “Sully” Sullenberger. Tom Hanks plays SULLY on the celluloid bringing his tory, his vision, his perception at ease brilliantly giving you the insights on the fight in spite of emerging as a Hero; the protocol doubts you in quite a few “What if’s” holding SULLY responsible for quite a few things that didn’t happen or the way should have happened. Ultimately, Heroes are emerged from the paths less travelled SULLY is definitely one great legendary example.

On January 15th, 2009 US Airways Flight 1549 barely three minutes after it took off, hits the flock of geese striking disaster failing both the engines, bringing in the best brains at work immediately for the safe landing. The options to land the flight at other neighboring runaways fail due to the altitude and time factor. SULLY decides to do the water landing on the Hudson River executing the best to save the passengers. The media and public hail him as a Hero soon after the news spread.

His intellect is put in doubt when the inquiry committee questions him for not following the radar communication offering other landing options and endangering 155 passengers live. Questioning if he was influenced by alcohol or depressed by domestic issues or whatsoever. This is what forms the crux of the story where Director brings in his vision, his perception, his thinking on the toes that emerged a Hero who is doubted by the system; standing strong SULLY shines out bright. Clint Eastwood keeps a pace consistent throughout the film without any overwhelming turbulence of the averted tragedy or his inquiry committee process. He keeps it simple yet extraordinary.

SULLY clears your vision giving you an IQ to think over the thoughtless simulations beyond technology. Technology with no proactive thinking cannot term Proactive thinking to human error. It is the Man who created the Technology, technology didn’t create any Man.  Brain has more power to think than robotic simulations following the program of if’s and then’s..

Fasten yourself to this wonderful cinematic experience; take this flight and be safe. You have SULLY.

REVIEW: Once upon a time in Hollywood – A Classic Cocktail.

No Spoilers Ahead – Read On!!!

Quentin Tarantino gives a great twisted cinema that showcases the fictional series of fifties “Bounty Law” starring Rick Dalton essayed by Leonardo DiCaprio who shares a great camaraderie with his Stuntman Cliff played by Brad Pitt, who continues to kill people with his looks and what a role he essays in this one is mind-blowing. Every time Rick tells him, he is a great friend, Cliff mentions “I try”. These are some real moments of the films that wins over you.
Cherry though small but it tops the cake; Al Pacino is that cherry, not on the cake but on this Hollywood cocktail, with his sheer presence in a little role adds volume making Once upon a time in Hollywood a Classic Cocktail bringing the best Cinema Alive.

The trio are stellar. But the story belongs to the Two Men Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio along with the Quentin Tarantino story telling that keeps you mesmerized with the way the film is shot, the colors, the humor, the cinematic philosophy is class apart here. One of the scenes Leonardo DiCaprio will remind you of the role Mr. Bachchan essayed in Sharabi.  The conflict the actor faces with his own self and how he does a self-talk. The conversation between the little girl played by Julia Butters and Leonardo DiCaprio is the language of cinema bringing great laughs with great thoughts.
The film has an ensemble cast that do their parts well putting it all together to a applaudable climax; The film is highly entertaining and it will ride you through various genres effectively, high on engagement, tantalizing your mind with various elements that are intriguing making Once Upon a time in Hollywood a Great Classic Cocktail.. Art at its best. A great Quentin Tarantino film.
