Wah Taj & Sanam Teri Kasam’s lead cast in a short film called – ‘Khamakha’.

Manjiri Fadnnis & Harshvardhan Rane are seen in a recently released short film called Khamakha. While Wahh Taj’s promotions are on full swing, Manjiri is equally excited about her role in this short film directed by Aarti S. Bagdi and produced by HumaraMovie. “Khamakha brings up a language prejudice in a very lighthearted non preachy chilled out way through these 2 characters during their short journey but giving a strong message. I’m sure audience will beautifully connect to it. Working with Harshvardhan was awesome! He’s so chilled out & such a natural performer that it felt like a real conversation while shooting … & his subtleness brings in such natural charming nuances”, says actor Manjiri Fadnnis.

Khamakha is appreciated by the audiences as well as renowned names in the industry. John Abraham congratulated Harshvardhan for his role on twitter. Komal Nahta too mentioned about Khamakha on the social networking site. Subhash Ghai a veteran film maker, Aarti Bagdi’s mentor admired her work and was present during the screening of the film. Ashutosh Gowarikar, Sooraj Bharjatiya, Bhawna Soumaya too liked Khamakha.

The film was a special dedication to Hindi Diwas with language blockades and linguistic fences being the central theme. The staple theme of the film has a philosophical flavor. Harshvardhan who plays a lead role is been called reincarnation of John Abraham. Harshvardhan’s sweet romantic act in the short film Khamakha is quite a contrast from the intense role that he portrayed in STK and his fans seem to be enjoying his new onscreen avatar just as much.

“Well there’s a special reason I had done this film as it very simply and beautifully points out the bias we tend to have about non-English speakers and I felt it was perfect for Hindi Diwas. I am humbled with the overwhelming response and that people are loving the film and my performance too,” says the actor as the compliments flowing his way on the social networking sites continue.
