The prestigious school Whistling Woods International recently had an eventful evening filled with glitter and fan fare as 1000 students and cinema enthusiasts
were seen celebrating cinema with at their campus with the kick start of their most favorite festival ‘Celebrate cinema 2017 ‘. The fest is known for depicting history of cinema in form of paintings, photo galleries, murals, music, movies workshops, masterclasses by experts n celebrities.
The inaugural event for this years ‘Celebrate cinema 2017 ‘was held with team of film MOM who were present to have a special interaction session with the students and the cinema lovers. The event commenced with the school President Meghna Ghai Puri awarding scholarships named under Dilip kumar and Lata Mangeshkar to fresh students of merits and later announcing a new scholarship titled ‘Subhash Ghai’ scholarship for Under privileged aspirants for cinema and media arts’ which provides education for diploma or degree free of any cost. Meghna Ghai Puri also announced its association with ‘ ekam Satt’ an organisation spreading spiritual power amongst young generation under famous singer Ameya Dabli and team with their spiritual music shows all over india. Subhash Ghai and his team team were integral part of this show by Amey dabli who rendered magical prayer on guru Brahma. The event was was followed by a masterclass with talented team of film MOM with question answer session between students and Producer Boney Kapoor , director Ravi and writer Girish Kohli.
Talking about it the veteran filmmaker and also the owner of Whistling Wood International School, Subhash Ghai said ‘ I feel blessed to provide free education to under privileged children with talent at Whistling woods international. I am sure they will rise and shine in industry with excellent merits. “
