Repairman to acing the Hollywood game – Irrfan Khan shares his story with Inferno’s poster coming out!

It is truly a sign of a true superstar is the one who has struggled his way up to the point that he is a phenomena. Actor Irrfan Khan is one of the finest actors we have in Bollywood today who has also marked his place in Hollywood making him a true superstar. As the poster of his next Hollywood venture, Inferno which is the third part of Ron Howard’s Mega successful series based on Dan Browns book we can only sit up and applaud Irrfan for his incredible and successful efforts in the west. Having worked with several award winning directors,

Irrfan Khan will be seen essaying the role of Provost alongside Tom hanks in the lead. As Indian audiences gear up for its early release, this success hasn’t come easy for Irrfan. In the initial days of his career, the actor’s  parents weren’t supportive of his idea to make a career in the film industry but Irrfan was keen on achieving his goals and making a name for himself. In fact one strange but true anecdote which happened to reassure Irrfan of his path was a rather intriguing incident when Irrfan did a job as a repairman and happened to visit the house of none other than Rajesh Khanna. His mere boredom of being a non creative soul made his irk to be an actor much stronger!
Now we are glad Irrfan was a repairman,
So that he could realise that acting was his final and only calling.

REVIEW: Once upon a time in Hollywood – A Classic Cocktail.

No Spoilers Ahead – Read On!!!

Quentin Tarantino gives a great twisted cinema that showcases the fictional series of fifties “Bounty Law” starring Rick Dalton essayed by Leonardo DiCaprio who shares a great camaraderie with his Stuntman Cliff played by Brad Pitt, who continues to kill people with his looks and what a role he essays in this one is mind-blowing. Every time Rick tells him, he is a great friend, Cliff mentions “I try”. These are some real moments of the films that wins over you.
Cherry though small but it tops the cake; Al Pacino is that cherry, not on the cake but on this Hollywood cocktail, with his sheer presence in a little role adds volume making Once upon a time in Hollywood a Classic Cocktail bringing the best Cinema Alive.

The trio are stellar. But the story belongs to the Two Men Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio along with the Quentin Tarantino story telling that keeps you mesmerized with the way the film is shot, the colors, the humor, the cinematic philosophy is class apart here. One of the scenes Leonardo DiCaprio will remind you of the role Mr. Bachchan essayed in Sharabi.  The conflict the actor faces with his own self and how he does a self-talk. The conversation between the little girl played by Julia Butters and Leonardo DiCaprio is the language of cinema bringing great laughs with great thoughts.
The film has an ensemble cast that do their parts well putting it all together to a applaudable climax; The film is highly entertaining and it will ride you through various genres effectively, high on engagement, tantalizing your mind with various elements that are intriguing making Once Upon a time in Hollywood a Great Classic Cocktail.. Art at its best. A great Quentin Tarantino film.

A must watch for Cinema Lovers.
PK Verdict: Gold Plus

The Post – Enthralling Engrossing Entertaining

Steven Spielberg’s posts a great cinema on the celluloid not just by bringing the era alive but also giving you goose bumps on how journalism can evolve and create a history out of the history.

The PostThe Post is the classic story of American Journalism that includes the stellar actors Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep. Meryl Streep is brilliant in her act and shines with her sheer performance playing Katharine Graham. Tom Hanks plays Ben The Editor and his act is class apart too. He is always at the ease of his act shining in his performance.

Based on the true story of the year 1971, where Media roars and tries to bring the house down of the Then President Nixon, exposing the situation US government on their take during the Vietnam war. Right journalism is nothing but ringing in the better society. The Post does that. The people involved do that, inspired by true events, Steven Spielberg gives you the drama you become part of. Nail biting decision makings makes you feel part of the drama making you wait to hear “Go Ahead” that becomes your inner voice too.

The film is not just a visual delight it is intellect delight too. For the validation of facts, one may have to google out some history on the subject, otherwise The Post leaves a mark as a great Enthralling Engrossing Entertainer this weekend from the west inspired by true events.

Verdict: Gold****
