M.S. Dhoni fans give a special surprise to him by launching the film’s official poster on his birthday!

Indian cricket Captain M.S Dhoni’s birthday was made even more special by his fans who celebrated the much beloved cricketer’s special day by exclusively revealing the first official poster of the film based on his life’s story.

The makers of M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, took a unique innovative path to launch the official poster of the film.

For the first time in the history of Bollywood we saw the proactive involvement of fans in promoting a film and launching a major film asset.

All the fan clubs of M.S. Dhoni and Sushant Singh Rajput came together to reveal the poster of the film on 7th July. The fan clubs thus became the official endorsers of the film, and got involved with the promotion of the movie from the very outset. Sushant Singh Rajput who is playing the character of MS Dhoni in the movie subsequently tweeted the poster after it was revealed by fans.

This gesture reiterates that Dhoni is truly a common man’s hero and his impact is felt amongst the millions all across the world. Fans are already waiting to catch their hero’s story unfold on the silver screen.

A Fox Star Studios presentation, MS Dhoni : The Untold Story is produced by Inspired Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and is directed by Neeraj Pandey. The movie stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role along with Anupam Kher, Kiara Advani and Disha Patani. Produced by Arun Pandey and Fox Star Studios, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story is slated to hit the theatres on 30th September 2016.
