Rajasthan Tourism Logo reveal gets best animated ad film award
The animation, visual effects and gaming industry in India is being honoured at the FICCI Frames 2016 with the prestigious Best Animated Frames (BAF) Awards.
And the winners are
The Best VFX in a Motion Picture [Indian] award goes to Baahubali-The Beginning by Arka Mediaworks.
The Best VFX in a Motion Picture [International] award goes to Chappie by Image Engine and BOT VFX.
The Best VFX in a TV Episode [Indian] award goes to Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat by Contiloe Pictures.
The Best VFX in a Commercial [Indian] award goes to Afterlife Series E02 by Guliver Films and Tata Elxsi Visual Computing Labs.
The Best VFX in a Commercial [International] award goes to Sainsburys Mogs Christmas Calamity by Framestore.
The Best VFX in a Short Film – Student [International]award goes to Korser by ArtFx.
The Best PC and Console Game [Indian] award goes to DGU by DSK Green Ice Games.
The Best Mobile and Tablet Game [International] as well as [Indian] award goes to Terminator Genysis Guardian by Glu Mobile.
The Best Animated TV Episode [Indian] award goes to Ande Pirki by Bluepixels Animation Studios.
The Best Animated Film [Direct-to-DVD (Home Video) / Telefilms] [Indian] award goes to Lights, camera, Roll No 21 – Kris in Bollywood by Turner International India.
The Best Animated Feature Film [Theatrical Release] [Indian]award goes to Chhota Bheem Himalayan Adventure by Green Gold Animation.
The Open Category [Animation] award goes to So Sorry by ITG-Morph – India Today Group Morph Information Technologies.
The Best Animated Ad Film (Indian) award goes to Rajasthan Tourism Logo reveal by Studio Eeksaurus Productions.
The Best Animated Short Film – Professional [International] award goes to Save Little Shelley by Saptarshi Dey.
The Best Animated Short Film – Professional [Indian] award goes to Yellow by Nishant Bahukhandi.
The SPECIAL JURY Award [Animated Short Film – Professional] goes to Tickles and Hugs by Tulir and Girgit Studios.
The Best Animated Short Film Student award Indian and International award goes to Debanjan Nandy’s Chhaya.
The Best Animated Animated Promos award Indian goes to Framestore for Sainsburys Mogs Christmas Calamity and International award goes to Turtle In Motion Studios forThe Shonku Diaries-A Unicorn Adventure.
These awards have recognised both veteran and young talent in the animation, visual effects and gaming genre in all forms of content creation right from short films, feature length films to commercials.
The BAF Awards, a prestige and honour in itself, took place on 30 March, 2016 at Hotel Renaissance, Powai, Mumbai at FICCI Frames 2016.
