Motion capture from a phone video
OyeFilmy’s motion capture, powered by Kling, transfers a performance from a reference video onto a character. Act the movement once on a phone camera and drive a generated character with it — no suit, no tracking markers, no studio.
What you can do
- Markerless performance transfer from any reference video
- Drive generated characters with real human movement
- Combine with character reference sheets for a consistent performer across shots
How it works
- 1
Film the performance
Record the movement on any camera — a phone clip works. Full body in frame, reasonable light.
- 2
Pick the character
Choose or generate the character who should perform the movement.
- 3
Transfer
The performance maps onto the character and renders as a new shot.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a mocap suit or markers?
No. The capture is markerless — the model reads the performance directly from an ordinary video. A clear, well-lit, full-body reference clip gives the best transfer.
Can the same character perform across multiple shots?
Yes. Combine motion capture with a character reference sheet: the sheet keeps the character’s identity consistent while each reference video drives a different performance.
