Frequently asked questions
Can AI really remove a person from a moving shot?
Yes. The model reconstructs the background behind the removed person frame by frame, including through camera movement. Complex cases — heavy occlusion, the person interacting with the subject — may take more than one pass.
What is roto and when do I need it?
Rotoscoping isolates a subject from its background so it can be composited, graded or treated separately. You need it whenever a subject and background must be handled independently — and it is historically one of the most labour-intensive jobs in VFX.
