Frequently asked questions
Do I need to have filmed on a green screen?
No. The AI separates the subject from whatever background the shot has. Green screen output is available as an option when you want to do the compositing yourself.
Will the character match the new background’s lighting?
When you replace the background directly, the shot is regenerated so the character sits in the new environment consistently. If you take the green-screen output route instead, grading is in your hands in your own editor.
